Flourish: Noun. a bold or extravagant gesture or action, made especially to attract the attention of others.
To grow and evolve as a person takes courage. To learn how to communicate clearly and effectively requires practice, patience and skill. Becoming a more conscious communicator means learning how to apply interpersonal and nonverbal communication methods in everyday relationships without letting your ego interfere.
However, before you can communicate consciously with others, it is helpful to also learn to communicate with yourself in a positive manner. Your inner voice can sometimes be the loudest and most negative noise of all. Learning how to self-talk in a way that promotes confidence within, can boost your abilities as both an active listener and a conscious communicator.
